“A Quintessential film maker”, as he would often describe himself, Richmond is a fast rising and one of the most sort after film directors and cinematographers in recent time, his keen attention to details and a thorough work flow, sets him among some of the best directors to look out for. He studied computer science at Lagos state university where he graduated with a BSc in comp science, but opted to make films instead.
In 2014 he made his first feature film title 40 DAYS and latter went on to direct FIRST TIME MUM TV SERIES, WAZOBIA TV first ever original show, in collaboration with BOX TV. His creative footprint is spread across an endless list of contents from different production houses such as Giant Creative media, riverside productions, philos pictures, acceleratetv, inkblot, wazobia tv and so on, which has also screened on platforms like Netflix, showmax, dstv, rok and Nigerian cinema, He has worn different hats on different film and television content, in view of this, He worked as Assistant Director on jobs like LIGHT IN THE DARK (Netflix),
ONE LAGOS NIGHT (Netflix) AND HONEY MONEY (Nigerian Cinema), he was the cinematographer in titles like LOUD (Feature), SHE (Feature), BOSS LADY TV SERIES, AMISS (Feature), and BLIND DATE (short film) , with directing titles such as THE SIGNATURE (feature), MIST (Short film) and two of his Upcoming works BROKEN PORTRAIT (Feature) and MOJI (Feature).
